Pixel Dynamic has always honoured its users’ rights to data privacy and protection. We have no need to collect and process users’ personal information beyond what is required for the delivery of our projects, and this will never change. We have a privacy-conscious culture here and GDPR is an opportunity for us to strengthen this even further.

This notice explains how we collect and use personal data about you in accordance with General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR).

Our GDPR Plan

  • We have appointed a Data Protection Officer.
  • We are reviewing and updating our range of policies, including our Data Protection Policy.
  • We have updated our privacy policy on our website to incorporate our GDPR obligations.
  • We have introduced mechanisms to identify a potential personal data breach, how these will be investigated and reported, where necessary within 72 hours.
  • We are undertaking a systematic review of the personal data we store, manage, maintain, collect, process and control.
  • We have assessed our lawful bases for processing data to ensure all personal data is processed lawfully, fairly and transparently.
  • We have conducted data mapping of all our processes involving personal data.
  • We are and will continue to look at ways of improving our systems and procedures to better comply with GDPR best practice.

Data Protection Principles

We will comply with the data protection principals when gathering and using personal information in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

  • we will endeavour to hold relevant and accurate personal data, and where practical, we will keep it up to date
  • we will not keep personal data for longer than is necessary
  • we will keep all personal data secure

Data Retention

  • We will only retain personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which we collected it.
  • All hard copy information will be kept in locked filing cabinet within PIXEL DYNAMIC (WE ARE PIXEL DYNAMIC LTD) of 6 MAPLE COURT, KNOWSLEY, L34 0BA.
  • All electronic information will be held on password protected secure staff network, which is backed up on a cloud-based storage system
  • Records are only viewed by those who need access to the personal data

We will assess what retention period is appropriate for your specific personal data and take into consideration:

  • The requirements of our business
  • Any statutory and legal obligations
  • The purpose for which we collected the personal data
  • The types of data we collected

Data Sharing

We will only share your personal data outside when required to:

  • For audit purposes
  • Are required to by law

In addition to the policies and procedures mentioned above that ensure individuals can enforce their data protection rights, we provide easy to access information in the office of an individual’s right to access any personal information that Pixel Dynamic processes about them and to request information about:

  • The purposes of the processing
  • The categories of personal data concerned
  • The recipients to whom the personal data has/will be disclosed
  • How long we intend to store your personal data for
  • If we did not collect the data directly from them, information about the source
  • The right to have incomplete or inaccurate data about them corrected or completed and the process for requesting this
  • The right to request erasure of personal data (where applicable) or to restrict processing in accordance with data protection laws, as well as to object to any direct marketing from us and to be informed about any automated decision-making that we use
  • The right to lodge a complaint or seek judicial remedy and who to contact in such instances

Changes to this notice

This notice is reviewed every 6 months by our directors. Recommendations for any amendments are reported to Adam Wheatley.

We will continue to review the effectiveness of this notice to ensure it is achieving its stated objectives.
